To change the gaskets, you will need a small, thin implement such as the rotating portion of a nail file or a flat head screwdriver for glasses repair. If the gaskets are difficult to seat, you may want to soak them in hot water for a few minutes to loosen them up and make the process easier. Follow these installation instructions: 1. Remove the lid and place it upside down. 2. Rotate the innermost piece on the central rod to the left until it clicks out of place. Set it aside. 3. Remove the gasket underneath that piece and discard it. 4. Remove the flat circular piece to expose the bottom of the lid. 5. Remove the innermost (smallest) gasket around the central rod and discard it. 6. Replace the innermost gasket, using your implement to fully seat it if necessary. 7. Remove the outer gasket and discard it. 8. Replace the outermost gasket, using your implement to seat it if necessary. 9. Place the flat circular piece back over the central rod with the words facing up. 10. Replace the gasket over the central rod, ensuring that it is fully seated. 11. Place the small piece back over the central rod and twist it to the right to click it back into place. Please note: This gasket set only fits the Wide Body and Narrow Top model (Stainless King and comparable mugs), not the narrow body and wide top model (Sipp models).
